Publisher Ownership
Publishers keep ownership of their work. Listing research on Ledgerly is non-exclusive, and a publisher may delist a document or its full publication for future purchases at any time.
Buyer License
A paid retrieval grants the named buyer internal research rights to that document. It does not grant republication, resale, public distribution, or permission to use the document to train a general-purpose model.
Pricing & Revenue Share
The publisher sets the price for each document, subject to a protective platform minimum. During the founding pilot, the publisher receives 90% of the purchase price and Ledgerly retains 10%.
Receipts & Attribution
Each retrieval creates a receipt identifying the buyer, publication, document, price, permitted use, and purchase time. Buyers should preserve the source attribution and receipt reference in research produced from the document.
Payouts & Refunds
Publisher earnings accrue when a purchase completes and are paid monthly by bank transfer or Wise during the pilot. Ledgerly may reverse fraudulent, refunded, or technically failed transactions, with the reversal shown in the ledger.
Takedowns & Pilot Changes
Ledgerly will act on a verified ownership or rights complaint and may pause disputed content while it is reviewed. Pilot terms may change as the service develops; material changes will be presented before they apply to new access.
